Description: Government Grant Supported Small Business Assistance from the Marina Technology Cluster
Marina Technology Cluster offers small business assistance for entrepreneurs and existing businesses. Income qualified individuals from Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties are eligible for free services to start their own home business, write or improve business plans, obtain funding and small business loans, search for business grants, and even use free office space, meeting rooms and office equipment (printer, fax, copier, scanner and wifi wireless internet).
Whether you need to develop your own business idea, learn how to write a business plan to obtain a small business loan, or need to talk to a professional business consultant for marketing, bookkeeping, finance, computer, legal or business development advice, Marina Technology Cluster can help!
Marina Technology Cluster is partnered with the City of Marina and is located in the UCMBEST Center, which boasts beautiful offices with natural lighting.

Qualified clients of the Marina Technology Cluster form a community of practice which serves to match small business owners and entrepreneurs with qualified business consultants and rigorous small business training.

• Assistance, strategy and planning services for various types of small businesses, home based businesses, retail, computer, green businesses, marketing, etc.
• Business funding assistance including help securing small business loans, small business grants and startup and minority business grants
• Development of business ideas and business opportunities
• Free office space and use of meeting rooms & office equipment
