Twenty of Monterey’s historic buildings will be lit by candlelight as part of the this annual Christmas in the Adobes celebration. Along with the hundreds of candlelights, called “luminarias,” there will be a variety of musical entertainment, refreshments, and decorations to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Staff and docents (many in period clothing) will tell about the adobes history. 5pm to 9 pm Tickets are $20. Ages 6-17 years are $2 with a paid adult. Ages 5 and under are free.
